Lawyer Referral Service

The Lawyer Referral Service, a public service of the Hampshire County Bar Association, refers individuals to an appropriate attorney or agency for their specific legal or non-legal needs.

Members of the Hampshire County Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service have successfully served thousands of referral clients, many of whom remain with the same attorney for all their future legal needs.

The LRS is a full fee referral service.  If you can not afford to hire an attorney, please check out the Resources section for available public assistance programs.

The LRS does NOT provide free legal advice or make pro bono referrals.

• The LRS is FREE to use.
• First half-hour initial consultation is FREE.
• Receive up to 3 referrals per case, one at a time.
• If a referral is not appropriate, you will be directed to other Resources.
• LRS fees are paid by the attorney and NOT charged to the client.
• LRS attorneys are members of the Hampshire County Bar Association.
• The Hampshire County Bar Association LRS is a nonprofit organization.
